We will also be taking up donations to El Pueblo, Inc. to support youth and adult leaders to attend the Unidos US Community Leaders in Action Summit in Washington, DC!\
SB-145 is one of the major anti-immigrant bills that may be up for consideration during the Legislative Short Session, which will meet throughout the month of may. We don’t know exactly which bills may or may not move forward in May. However, now is the time to make our voices heard and let our lawmakers know that we oppose efforts to target undocumented North Carolinian’s who work, go to school, and contribute to our communities in countless ways.
