Durham Distillery is having a good month. In addition to unveiling its third canned cocktail, the Rosé Spritz—a refreshing mix of Conniption Gin with rosé wine, natural flavors and soda water—the San Francisco World Spirits Competition awarded Silver Awards in the tasting category to Durham Distillery’s two canned cocktails, Conniption Gin & Tonic and Cucumber Vodka Soda. “This is the first competition for our premium canned cocktails and certainly one of the most influential in the world,” says president and CEO Melissa Katrincic, who founded Durham Distillery with her husband and the head distiller Lee Katrincic in 2013. “We’re thrilled and now even more excited about the Rosé Spritz.” The world spirits competition judged more than 3,000 spirits this year in a blind tasting.
