NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED. Thank you for your participation. Subscribe for our March issue and see who made the cut.
Raleigh Magazine will feature fearless 40-somethings in our March issue. These are people who have made a monumental life change (think major career shift, starting a business, running for office, publishing a book, getting an advanced degree, etc.—essentially diverting from their original path in some fearless and phenomenal way.) While we salute anyone who has overcome their sickness or station, this category is specifically dedicated to people who made a fearless choice. Know someone who fits the bill? Vote for them here by Jan. 24, 2022.

Jamie moved to Raleigh a few years ago with his wife and daughter. He recently opened a franchise called Mr. Appliance of Knightdale. Doing this all while being handicapped for many years due to a Neurological Disease. Jamie must use two assistive devices to ambulate and has great difficulty moving.
He is determined to succeed and does not allow his disability to stop the progression of his business. He takes great pride in his work and cares deeply for his employees, his customers and his community. He may be disabled but he is certainly an asset to the Raleigh Community.
