Rocking you like a hurricane … is, well, the Carolina Hurricanes! Taking Vegas by storm and repping the Canes in the first All-Star weekend to take to the ice since early 2020 prepandemic times were Canes trio coach Rod Brind’Amour, standout goaltender Frederik Andersen and, well, shooting star Sebastian Aho, who went a perfect 4-for-4 in 10.937 seconds to win the Accuracy Shooting All-Star Skills comp. And really sticking it to the competition, while the Canes were riding high in Sin City, the NHL announced hockey is coming to Carter-Finley… granting our beloved “Bunch of Jerks” that ever-elusive outdoor hockey game after having missed out on the postponed Stadium Series game in 2021. Finally, hockey is coming to Carter-Finley—slated for February 2023. NTM, as we go to press, the Canes sit squarely at No. 1 in their division. Um, puck yeah! nhl.com/hurricanes
