Finally—a slew of condo options coming to DTR.

In a wave of condo construction Downtown, there’s a new kid on the block when it comes to luxe living in the Village District catering to residents in search of modern low-maintenance living. Enter The Lansing, designer condos by New York-based Lambert Development Enterprise Street LLC—which has expanded its footprint in the Triangle over the last eight years (think the likes of fully occupied West + Lenoir Townhomes in Raleigh, and Durham’s The Vega, with the latter slated to begin closings mid-May).

Situated at the corner of Enterprise Street and Clark Avenue—and with reservations for ownership now underway—The Lansing serves another opportunity for ownership in an otherwise arguably low-supply, high-demand area, joining 100% sold Clark Townhomes, Lambert’s nearby multifamily high-end townhomes completed in 2021; 95% pre-sold mod-classic condos The Stephenson by DC’s Lock7 Development (with only one offering left as of press time), complete in late April/early May; and modern luxury condos 29 Enterprise by Raleigh’s Grayson Homes, with an estimated March 2024 completion.

The announcement of The Lansing brings welcome news to buyers of a certain price point looking to lay down roots in the burgeoning Village District with the now-resurrected Goodnights underground and a slew of new concepts on the horizon. Not to mention its position among the surrounding (thriving) Hillsborough Street Corridor.

“The Lansing’s Enterprise Street location is spectacular,” says Lambert Development President Henry A. Lambert, “not only in regard to walkability to the Village District, but also in terms of proximity to Downtown Raleigh, NC State University and major thoroughfares.”

The five-story building designed by Durham’s MHAworks PA serves up 53 thoughtfully detailed one- to three-bedroom natural light-filled bespoke residences of 825 to 2,394 square feet complete with detailed interiors, secure below-building parking—plus private terrace views via a folding 10-foot-wide Centor glass door. And reducing your DoorDash dependency, The Lansing ups the ante on ever-evolving trends with punctiliously planned kitchens lending equal parts high design and functionality—think Bosch stainless steel appliances, locally crafted cabinetry and ample storage.

And since there’s no “planet B,” Lambert worked closely with uber-respected energy consulting service NORESCO to deliver common spaces that exceed indoor air-quality standards—plus bike storage and optional car-charging stations promising to keep you plugged into efficient living.

The development joins a host of high-end condo/townhome selects in progress in and around DTR, including South Heights, 615 Peace in Smoky Hollow and The Dukes at City View townhome collective, among others.

With reservations likely to run through midsummer (~35% of total units must be under rez to start construction), The Lansing is slated to break ground at that time, with a buildout of 18 to 24 months and early 2025 move-ins. From the high $500Ks, thelansingraleigh.com
