The Fri., 3pm and 4pm, Dinner & Drinks Tours stay mostly close to historic Fayetteville St. and the Capitol but may also walk to the Warehouse/Gallery or Glenwood Ave. South Districts depending upon the weekly schedule. Why is it such a big deal when wines are labeled to have “Old Vines?” What does it mean to have grapes coming from old vines? Explore two grape varietals that are known to be harvested from vines more than 70 years in age around the world, including Australia, California, Spain, and France. Find out how these gnarled and ancient vines manage to translate a unique depth of flavors in this class.

Seats are at $60 per person and include wines, tasting bites, tax, and gratuity. This class will be held at the Fearrington House Restaurant taught by Sommelier Laura Francis.

The first ever Diner en Blanc Raleigh is finally coming to our beloved city August 17, 2019!

This elegant, pop-up style, outdoor dinner party started in Paris over 30 years ago and has become an international phenomenon. The event is held at a super secret location not revealed until just before the event. On the day of, guests arrive dressed in all white at several departure points all over the city and travel together to the secret location to enjoy a night of fellowship, food, glamour and fun under the stars!

Diner en Blanc has become a widely recognized and highly anticipated event all over the world attracting thousands of participants. The event is held in over 80 cities worldwide including 30 U.S. cities and notably, Charlotte hosted it’s first successful event just last year. Diner en Blanc Raleigh is hosted by passionate local organizers who fell in love with the concept and can’t wait to add some Raleigh style to the event. The goal of the night is to bring guests together as they enjoy the beauty of their city over a gourmet meal. Tickets will be going on sale soon.
