DESCRIPTION:The 2nd NC Modernist House Tour of the year is happening from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 26. This is a chance to visit eight private homes and a farm\, both new and mid-century Modernist structures\, in Raleigh\, Durham\, and Chapel Hill. Ticketholders will meet in Research Triangle Park\, board a luxury tour bus to visit these eight homes and a farm\, and enjoy a chance to meet many of the architects who built or renovated them. Tickets cost $159-$179 and include coffee and bagels\, lunch\, a USModernist tote bag with snacks\, bottled water\, free wifi and the comfort of a restroom-equipped\, air-conditioned bus.
