Film Screening: H.G. Wells’ 1936 film, Things to Come
Join the Gregg Museum of Art & Design for a free evening screening of Things to Come, English writer H.G. Wells’ 1936 film. The year is 1940, and civilization has been torn apart by a global war. Spanning generations, Things to Come is science fiction on a grand scale, featuring eye-popping sets, a larger-than-life performance by Academy Award nominee Ralph Richardson and a powerful score of Sin Arthur Bliss. Lavishly restored in high definition from the original film elements, Things to Come was selected and personally color-designed by legendary effects master Ray Harryhausen.
