Willard and Alice S. Marriott\, opened a small A&W Root Beer stand to escape the Washington\, D.C. heat. Today\, we’re carrying on their legacy by offering root beer floats supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals\, a cause close to Marriott’s heart since 1983. \nIndulge in your choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic root beer float at 10th & Terrace during the month of August. A portion of the proceeds from every purchase will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network to help provide care to local kids.
