Back in the lab\, Eileen will outline how DNA extractions and sequencing will be used to investigate genetic diversity and relationships within the group\, and determine whether a distinct species of Aucuba occurs on Mt. Omei.

DESCRIPTION:NCModernist and Preservation Durham have joined forces to offer a retrospective tour of six homes built by Richard and Lonna Harkrader in Durham’s Morehead Hill neighborhood. From 1972 to 2000\, the Harkraders were known for building passive solar\, energy-efficient homes and apartments with a distinctive architectural style. The tour runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 10\, and tickets cost $10 per person. For the tour\, you’ll be assigned a start time and a central starting point downtown.

Ranger Rick is coming again to greet everyone\, too!
