DESCRIPTION:Join our studio artist\, Tessa Dahlmann\, for a deep dive into capturing emotion and micro-expressions in portraiture. As a participant\, you can expect to learn how to use facial anatomy\, expressive brush strokes\, and color temperature to inform your portrait painting practice\, while ensuring and maintaining your personal style. The Zorn Palette\, along with Alizarin Crimson and Ultramarine Blue will be the required paints for this class. Participants are required to provide their own oil paints and Artspace will provide everything else needed (canvases\, easels\, brushes etc.) \nAbout Artspace // \nArtspace is a non-profit visual arts center located in Downtown Raleigh.
