Inspired by the Italian tradition of pre-meal drinks and snacks\, the light menu of sips and snacks celebrates the ritual of Aperitivo\, which comes from the Latin word meaning “to open”—a delightful way to prepare the palate before dinner. Figulina’s Apertivo menu includes these cocktalis (Aperol Spritz\, Old Pal\, Negroni\, Paper Plane and Hugo Spritz) and snacks (almonds\, focaccia\, olives\, country ham\, ricotta-stuffed mejool dates or enjoy all as a platter).

DESCRIPTION:Figulina is reviving its Rome Night dinner on June 16 to help a friend of chef-owner David Ellis. \nFor this dinner service\, Figulina will offer a special menu highlighting classic Roman dishes\, including the four iconic Roman pasta dishes: \nRigatoni alla Gricia Guanciale with Black Pepper and Pecorino Romano\nCacio e Pepe Tonnarelli with Pecorino Romano and Black Pepper\nSpaghetti alla Carbonara with Egg\, Guanciale and Pecorino Romano\nBucatini all’Amatriciana with Tomato\, Guanciale and Pecorino Romano \nThe proceeds will benefit Gene Kluttz\, who Ellis met while both were volunteering at Raleigh City Farm during the pandemic. Kluttz was a big supporter of Ellis before opening Figulina. Kluttz volunteered time and energy on renovations before Figulina’s opening.
