DESCRIPTION:Safe Homes\, Strong Families Resource Day is a free community event presented by PR Home Care for older adults\, family caregivers\, and families who want to plan ahead\, stay informed\, and connect with trusted local resources before a crisis occurs. \nAttendees will have the opportunity to meet local professionals and learn about fall prevention\, aging in place\, home safety\, Medicare guidance\, estate planning\, medication safety\, caregiver support\, home organization\, and other resources that support safer\, more independent living. \nThe event will feature educational discussions\, practical resources\, community professionals\, giveaways\, and complimentary light refreshments while supplies last. \nFeatured Presentation: Aging in Place North Carolina will present “How to Safely and Comfortably Age in the Home You Love\,” sharing practical ways families can make the home safer and better suited for the years ahead. \nAdmission is free and walk-ins are welcome.
