DESCRIPTION:The Center\, a retail and dining plaza in downtown Cary\, is hosting a family-friendly Summer Kick-Off Party from 2-5 p.m. June 7. Come out to enjoy discounted gelato cups\, family-friendly meals and entertainment. The event will include:\n• Face painting and balloon twisting by The Melody Maker Entertainment.\n• Discounted gelato: $3 small cups and $2 baby cups from Geluna Gelato\, which was recently called the “best gelato outside Italy” by Local Palate magazine.\n• A kids’ craft table by art by Shalimar.\n• Enjoy nuggets\, fries and ancho garlic honey sauce at Hank’s Downtown Dive.
