Vidrio’s Taste Tour of the Mediterranean: Italy
Raleigh’s Vidrio restaurant hosts a series of monthly dinners called Taste Tour of the Mediterranean: A Culinary Tour led by Executive Chef Saif Rahman. The destination and menu inspiration changes each month as chef Rahman and the kitchen team work their way through the Mediterranean. The next multi-course meal, Taste Tour of the Mediterranean, Destination: Italy, is at 6:30 pm Oct. 26, 2022. The price for this eight-course meal is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Antipasti: Marinated vegetables, olives, assorted meats and cheeses
1st course: Burrata (Buffalo milk cheese) with Calabrian chili and artisan bread.
2nd course: Tuna crudo with prosciutto, olive oil, lemon, shallots and capers.
3rd course: Trippa alla Romana with Pecorino and fresh mint; Risotto alla Milanese with bone marrow and saffron
4th course: Gnocchi with guanciale, black truffle and Parmesan
5th course: Beef Braciole with tomato passata, prosciutto di Parma, pine nuts and Parmesan; and Patate al forno with rosemary and olive oil.
6th course: Bucatini alla Puttanesca with olives, tomato and Parmesan
Dessert: Bomboloni with hazelnut; and Campari & White Chocolate Cannoli
