Things that make you want to purrr-ple? These romantic shades of purple, natch. Give your room a refresh and achieve “grapeness” with these sultry selects. It promises to be plum perfection.

The design (pictured above) of this DJF Showhouse study is bold with a collected and timeless sense of style. The burgundy lacquered walls bring warmth without being overly feminine or frilly. Serving as the backdrop against the marigold silk drapery and accents of magenta, violet, emerald and teal mix with a blend of furniture styles to give the room an eclectic yet sophisticated look. Original art blends color and adds dimension. Fabric patterns and textures are luxe and layered, without feeling complicated. Designed by MA Allen, MA Allen Interiors

“This stately purple adorns a fireplace accent wall in my two-story living room, where it energizes, provides warmth to a vast space, and gets my creative juices flowing with the start of each day!”
