Rock Your World

Get ready to rock out for charity. The Embers, Band of Brothers, Tommy Niemann and other bands/artists are taking stage at Fenton’s (free!) Rock Your World event on Sept. 11 to benefit the Hope for Haiti Foundation of Cary, the U.S. Veterans Corps and NC LEAP (for first responders). Plus, providing the patriotism and the party is the American Bombshells, a group reminiscent of a modern-day twist on the Andrews Sisters that travels the globe in a can’t-miss dazzling all-American show complete with a Golden Eagle parachute jump and military rappelling exhibition.

Founded 12 years ago by Rock Your World chairman Mark Martyak, Dram & Draught co-owner Drew Schenck and musician extraordinaire Karl Moraski with an MO of “classic rock for a reason,” this year’s Rock Your World event “is shaping up to be the biggest in our history,” says Martyak.

In addition to the live tunes and fab atmosphere, the philanthropic affair will feature food and drink from Fenton restos (!), military/first responder photo ops, a silent auction. So, for those about to rock, we salute you. hopeforhaitifoundation.com
