If you’re anything like Death Cab for Cutie, you may not feel any different (yet)—but we’re all for the annual excuse to clink crystal with fireworks in the distance, reflect on the past year, and manifest what’s to come. Whether you’re after a rooftop toast, a lavish prix fixe or all-night dancing with friends, there’s a NYE celebration around town to suit every style. Here, our ultimate guide to ringing in the new year in Raleigh. 

Ajja
Come hungry because chef Cheetie Kumar and team are throwing down a bold, fabulous and festive five-course tasting menu showcasing farmer’s winter harvest “carpaccio,” charred pulpo, pan-roasted duck breast and more—all made with locally curated ingredients. 

Birdie’s
Welcome to the new year, old sport. Birdie’s is channeling Gatsby-era glamour via a la carte dining until 8pm, followed by a 9pm transformation into a lively soiree with open seating, food stations and a cash bar—plus a DJ keeping the vibes on high until 2am. 

Boatman Spirits Co.
Now departing: 2025. Cross into the New Year from Seaboard Station’s restaurant and bar, ringing in 2026 with a four-course dinner, dancing, and a spirited bubbly toast at midnight. 

Botanical Lounge
Roll out the red carpet for Botanical Lounge’s exclusive NYE event taking place across three floors with three different DJs. Be sure to dress to impress and strike a pose as the paparazzi will be snapping pics all night.

Brotedo
Save room for dessert—and maybe a second glass. Brodeto is serving a four-course prix fixe with optional wine pairings and indulgent add-ons to send the year off on a tasty note. Think menu items like oysters, risotto, branzino and that famous house focaccia. 

Crawford and Son
The best countdowns happen between courses. Enjoy Crawford and Son’s seasonal four-course prix fixe—and if you really want to savor the start of the year, throw in the caviar service complete with belgian waffles, fried egg sauce and other accouterments. 

Crawford Brothers Steakhouse
Oh, brother—in the best way. Prime cuts; indulgent sides; and luxe apps, soups and salads await at Crawford Brothers Steakhouse—because who wouldn’t want to end the year feasting on the likes of lobster mac and cheese or filet mignon?

Cuya
Clear eyes, full stomach, can’t lose. Cuya’s pulling out all the stops for an oh-so-delicious NYE dinner feat. menu items like scallop crudo, Jamaican curry wings, tamarind sticky ribs, and goat cheese + beet salad. Post-meal, head upstairs to dance the rest of the night away.

The Dry Cleaners
Leave 2025 in the rearview and enter the new year in a refined, intimate setting via The Dry Cleaners’ limited-capacity NYE experience. Ditch the classic chaos for curated cocktails, a specialty holiday menu, and good energy surrounded by your closest crew. Cocktail attire encouraged!

East End Bistrot
Ease your way into 2026 bite by bite with executive chef William D’Auvray’s seafood-themed NYE menu featuring rare Italian Beluga caviar, show-stopping Fruit de Mer, and other classic French fare with a twist. And, naturally, plenty of Champagne will stay pouring.

Figulina
Twirl into the new year with Figulina flair a la a bespoke NYE menu featuring four courses—built around seasonal luxe ingredients and feat. dishes like lobster and smoked trout roulade, sunchoke and lion’s mane raviolo, and wagyu picanha—plus a celebratory toast, wine pairings and more. 

Heights House
Get the best of all worlds at Heights House’s all-inclusive unforgettable event blending aperitivo hour, mixed-metals-inspired decor, a thoughtfully curated multicourse dinner by Snap Pea Creative Dining, wine service (plus mixed drinks and beer), a DJ and dancing, a photo booth, midnight Champagne toast, and late-night snacks. Hummingbird
Say goodbye to 2025 and/or welcome 2026 with two ops at Hummingbird: NYE dinner with a four-course prix fixe menu and tarot card readings, and hair of the dog weekday brunch featuring classic good luck faves.

Jolie
Start 2026 with a little je ne sais quoi. Jolie’s four-course prix fixe with optional wine pairings promises a très magnifique New Year’s Year, especially with dishes such as scallop tartare, poached halibut and black truffle fondue. Ooh la la!

Kings
New year, who dis? Leave 2025 at the door for DJ beats, bowling, billiards, passed apps and a buffet, desserts, and an arcade card for a night of Champagne-fueled mischief.

Legends
For a ~legendary~ night out, head to Legends for its last NYE blowout at the iconic Hargett Street location. As the clock counts down, the popular LGBTQ+ bar will be dishing 34 special moments for 34 guests in honor of 34 years at its OG home. Also don’t miss two free drag shows featuring Aphasia Chancellor, Chloe Cassidy, Tatiyanna Voché and Melody Rose.

Madre + Moon Room
Double the party, double the good times. Madre Luna is once again taking over the Smoky Hollow hot spots with no covers, no tickets—and special menus at both. Start with dinner at Madre (reservations recommended), followed by live jazz at Moon Room (P.S., it’s also the latter’s one-year anniversary!).

Mala Pata
The recent Michelin Bib Gourmand winner is hosting its very first private Nixtamal Dinner in conjunction with NYE, an unforgettable meal including a six-course dinner; Champagne toast; and curated alcohol packages starring exclusive mezcals, fine wine and/or cocktails. Cheers to that!

Neptunes + Le Dive
Find double the trouble at Neptunes’ and Le Dive’s two-floor extravaganza featuring not one, not two, but six (!) DJs ranging house and techno to bass and hip-hop—plus a Champs toast at midnight, naturally.

Overlook
If you’re hoping to miss the turning of the clock completely and be in bed before 9pm, Overlook’s got your covered with its early-bird four-course prix fixe menu from 3–5pm, feat. grilled lambchops, Waldorf salad, seared snapper and stuffed eggplant. Starting the new year well-fed and well-rested for the win! 

Peregrine + Capulet Cocktail Club
Worldly cuisine and Renaissance grandeur combine with Peregrine and Capulet’s party of the year. Expect global street food from chef Saif Rahman, a full band, three drink tickets and a Champagne toast at midnight, and a mind-bending illusionist. Sounds magical, indeed.

Raleigh Beer Garden
No ticket, no problem. For a more easygoing option, RBG will be hosting a Champagne toast at midnight—with the full food and drink menus also on offer.

Red Bird
A little birdy told us… Red Bird is the place to ring in 2026, located just steps from the acorn drop and First Night Raleigh. Enjoy bites, bubbles and live tunes from the Dave Grogan Band while keeping your eyes peeled to the TVs for the Times Square Ball Drop, then head upstairs to the 10th & Terrace rooftop for desserts and a sparkling toast at 10:30pm.

Smash Social Club
Play on! For a smashing good time, pull up for cocktails, tasty bites and endless rounds of games—plus DJ tunes and a complimentary midnight bubbly toast.

Sports & Social
Toast 2026—sporty style. At Sports & Social, themed cocktails, live music, photo ops and the Times Square Ball Drop on the 42-foot LED screen will keep the party going and your spirits high.

St. Roch
The countdown gets delicious at St. Roch, lighting up NYE with a three-course dinner featuring St. Roch favorites, festive dishes, and copious amounts of oysters and bubbles. Shell, yeah!

Theatre Raleigh
“Beverly Hills, that’s where I want to be.” Theatre Raleigh is transforming into a glittering 1940s film studio and supper club with a lavish chef-curated tasting menu with wine pairings, live performances, and Old Hollywood glamour for a star-studded New Year’s Eve. Rollin’ like a celebrity, indeed!

Trophy Five Points
Bring the whole fam out to the new Trophy for a festive celebration fit for all ages. Tickets include dinner (stationed + passed appetizers, specialty pizzas, cheese + pepperoni pizzas, and desserts) and two drinks for the grown-ups, plus an NA bev for the kiddos. The best part? The celebrations conveniently end before bedtime!

Vidrio
Sail into 2026 with Mediterranean flair. Come NYE, Vidrio will be offering vibrant flavors, live music, on-the-spot poetry  from The Poetry Fox and a midnight prosecco toast. Dance—or graze—your way to a night as unforgettable as the year ahead.

Vino Wine Bar
Caviar and Champagne—name a better pairing, we’ll wait. Flavor meets finesse at Vino Wine Bar, pairing bubbles with bites like potato crisps + caviar dip and gouda mac and cheese + braised pork shoulder for a high-class, perfectly balanced evening.

Watts & Ward
In true Watts style, the popular basement bar is delivering the perfect soundtrack to ring in 2026 with via live jams from local band Scrumptious—along with a DJ and full access to all three inside bars, plus the op to add VIP extras like dedicated bar service and food. Pre-sale tickets are sold out, but you can still gain entry at the door.

The Willard
Roll out the red carpet. The city skyline meets Old Hollywood sparkle at The Willard, where cocktails, a globe-spanning buffet, caricatures and live music from the Helena Redman Quintet come together for a vintage affair. Cap the night off with a midnight champagne toast and start 2026 like you’re on the silver screen.
