Roaming Readers: July Edition

Lace up your sneakers, pop in your earbuds and get swept up in a story one step at a time! Roaming Readers is an audiobook club with a twist! On July 12 from 9:30 – 11 a.m., hit the trails in RTP for a morning of fresh air, light movement and literary adventure. This month’s theme is fiction.
This month’s suggested title is Where the Crawdads Sign by Delia Owens. If you have already read it, cannot access a copy, or would prefer another title, other suggestions include Telephone by Percival Everett or Long After We Are Gone by Terah Shelton Harris.
Bring your phone, headphones, a water bottle, and, if you’d like to sign up for a library card, a photo ID.
Optional: Gather at the end to chat about the story, share favorite moments, and connect.
This event is for book lovers, the book-curious, people who haven’t been able to make time to read (or listen) for fun, introverts, extroverts, exercisers, care givers pushing strollers, (leashed) dog owners, groups, singles, nature lovers, and multi-taskers.
