North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper added another furry friend to the First Family after a stray kitten turned up in the garage of the downtown Governor’s Mansion. Cooper happily accepted the cat into his family’s menagerie of first pets, which also include a rescue dog, Benjamin, and two other adopted cats, Alexei and Adelaide. He has named the small, black tortoiseshell cat Jennyanydots, after the character from Cats. It’s clear that this lucky little kitty found the right garage to wander into!
