Art and Blooms at the JCRA: “Mountains, Skies and Water”

Do you admire handmade cards? Join JCRA volunteer and artist, Debra Singer-Harter, to have fun making whimsical art!

We will paint garden scenes that include mountains or lakes. There will be paths for flowers, and sky for birds. We will start with a curvy line and then flick and blend our way to fanciful places that you create!

Each student will receive all the supplies needed including a basic watercolor palette, practice paper and three watercolor cards. Debra leads the entire class through examples of basic strokes and methods to create the various subjects to paint. At the end of the class, you will leave with more confidence in watercolor painting and three beautiful cards to enjoy and share with others.
