Day Trip to High Point University

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting some colleagues from High Point University for a Friends of the Arboretum Lecture, where they shared the story behind their beautiful conservatory and the thoughtfully designed landscapes that enrich life on campus. Their presentation left us wanting to see it all firsthand, and now we have the opportunity to do just that!

Join us for a guided field trip to High Point University to tour the campus conservatory and explore a selection of gardens that illustrate how thoughtfully designed landscapes can support learning, wellness, and everyday life. Along the way, we’ll learn about the university’s horticultural philosophy, the challenges and opportunities of maintaining gardens in a busy academic environment, and the role these landscapes play in creating a memorable campus experience.
