ON THE ROAD IN PIEDMONTE’ BOOK LAUNCH CELEBRATION at FIGULINA

Figulina is celebrating wine director Jeff Bramwell’s new book, “On the Road in Piemonte with Winemakers, Farmers & Chefs.” The 1,000-page, two-volume hardcover set is among the most comprehensive English-language explorations of Italy’s Piemonte region ever published.

On July 22, the event will have two parts. From 4:30-6 p.m., there will be a Q&A with Bramwell on the restaurant patio for $30. Ticket includes light bites and one cocktail. Guests will be able to purchase the book and get it signed by Bramwell.

From 6-10 p.m., guests can make a reservation for a Summer in the Piemonte a la carte menu, which celebrating the less well known light wines and fresh flavors of the region. (Attendees of the book signing will have to make a dinner reservation.) Dishes included:
Vitello Tonnato (veal with tuna)
Giardiniera with focaccia & grissini
Acciughe al verde (anchovies in green sauce)
Coniglio all ligure (braised rabbit with olives and pine nuts)
