ShopSpace Open House and Sculpture Reveal

ShopSpace is a nonprofit that teaches blacksmithing, welding, jewelry, and woodwork. We also provide space and tools for the community to come work on their own personal projects.

We’re opening our doors to the public on October 24th from 4-7pm, for an evening celebrating creativity, making, and this year’s Artist Residency Program.

The highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of the new sculpture created during this residency by local artists Ben Galata and Evan Lightner.

Leading up to the unveiling, you’ll be able to explore ShopSpace and watch live demonstrations across all areas of the shop. See our tools and equipment in action, meet makers and instructors, and get a firsthand look at the many ways people create at ShopSpace.

We’ll also have a food truck on site, so come hungry and stay awhile!
